Celebrating Women’s History Month at John Vena Inc.

Women’s History Month is all about recognizing women’s impact on society and their accomplishments in fighting gender inequality. Social, economic, and cultural progress has made shockwaves across multiple industries, including produce.

To kick off Women’s History Month, we have many women to thank for their impact on JVI, both in our history and in our day-to-day.

Anita, John Vena I daughter, joined JVI as a bookkeeper in 1939. She quickly became an administrative backbone and a key member in driving JVI’s growth over the years. During her 60-year tenure at JVI, she even met and trained some of our current staff!

We can’t only look back in our 100-year history. There’s so many amazing women who grace our facility each day and are key parts of our teams.  These ladies work hard behind the scenes and we couldn’t be more thankful to know such an awesome group of inspiring women. Keep it up! But most importantly, thank you for all that you do:
