Ongoing COVID-19 Precautions at JVI

Dear JVI Partners,

We are honored to have been able to serve you throughout the past year. It’s been a difficult time for all of us, but the courage with which our industry has faced this unprecedented challenge is inspiring.

Thanks to the hard work of the global healthcare community and our government’s vaccination efforts, we are thrilled to report that many of our staff have been able to access COVID-19 vaccinations. For more information on where to get a vaccine, please visit the CDC’s Vaccine Finder here.

While we understand the CDC has lifted some mask recommendations for fully vaccinated individuals, the Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market (PWPM) and JVI will continue to follow City of Philadelphia guidelines requiring that masks be worn in our facility at all times regardless of vaccination status.

Our Food Safety & Sanitation Team will also continue to implement other safety measures until further notice, including:

• Enhanced sanitation protocols
• Touchpoint sanitation throughout the workday
• Increased hand-washing requirements
• Social distancing in breakrooms
• Limited visitors and restricted travel for staff

We are confident that these ongoing precautions will ensure JVI remains a safe place to work and to shop. As we have throughout the pandemic, our team will continue to operate 24 hours a day, 6 days a week to serve our customers (if you shop cash and carry in our PWPM Market Store, please find our current hours here).
