Garlic
Garlic is part of the onion family, making it a relative to the onion, leek, shallot and chive. While commonly noted for its distinctive odor and taste when used in cooking, it has also been seen to have medicinal purposes. Garlic can be used in a raw or cooked form, used to flavor oils, or pickled. John Vena, Inc. sells garlic in fresh bulbs as well as peeled cloves.
