Goji Berry

Goji Berries are a member of the nightshade family (Solonaceae), which also includes common vegetables such as potatoes, eggplants, tomatoes, and pepper. Goji Berries are relatively new to the Western part of the world, but they have been used for thousands of years in China and Tibet as a culinary ingredient and for medicinal purposes. Gojis are loaded with vitamin C and fiber, and are one of the most nutrient-dense fruits on Earth. They are usually consumed raw, made into a tea, or used as an ingredient in soups.
